Yup....Surrey slurry wore out a set of new, never ridden on brake pads in a few hours
Must learn not to use brakes, irrespective of how steep it is. What wuss I am.

Which is your favourite, Surrey slurry or South Downs chalk?

Re:

Like the photos. Video still in pre-production.

Strangely my KOOL stop canti pads are not looking any worse for wear. Last time I got through two sets of Shimano pads in one ride. Cantis aren't that bad after all with the right pads!

Haven't checked the rims though, maybe they've worn through...

I really enjoyed Saturday in Surrey slurry, more technical, so think it wins.

Video is up on YouTube. At last - took bloomin' hours.

Any objections I'll take it down but hope you enjoy. Please note, despite what you might glean from watching it, I am not a professional video producer. It's quite bumpy in places but I think it gives a good feel for riding one of these solid lumps down bumpy trails. Enjoy.

Re:

Sam brilliant thanks for that. You even managed to catch one of my face plants!
Colour's look amazing.

Good job, perhaps consider ditching the music next time. There's nowt wrong with hearing the trails and gunts ;-)
