Perhaps bizarre bunting? Bits of bike on a rope we could string around the track? A few poles etc. That could be very retro, especially with a few fairy lights. All the shite people bring and take home again that doesn't sell could look quite pleasing trackside if tasteful arranged and sexily lit.
