This post will be the first of most of the entire GT Avalanche/Team Avalanche steel collection that was offered from 87 through 93. 1988 Team Avalanche. This bike has a great story. One just like it was listed on eBay with a midweek ending and of coarse I missed the end of the auction. I messaged the seller to let him know if anything fell through that he should contact me. Turns out it was a bike shop that had sold twin bikes to a doctor and his wife to have at their retreat property and the doctor had recently passed away and his widow asked the shop to sell them. He said he had another and would sell it for the same reasonable price that the first one had sold for the bay...Yes. This one is a Toyo built frame, full braze-ons, roller stem, dual u-brakes, Spinner fork with investment cast ends. GT/SR Power Series Cranks and a Unique colored Suntour group in white and anthracite grey.

More tomorrow stay tuned.
