Late 90's Hand built Argos Racer 59cm *SOLD* £300

Hi all,

I'm a newbie to this forum and to online selling so hopefully this post works okay.

The bike was made for me by Argos frame builders in Bristol (not the catalogue store :D )
It's Reynolds 531
Durace gears, cranks (SPDs) and braking
3T bar and stem
Mavic CXP30 wheels
Rolls Due saddle

****edit 59cm (originally measured wrongly by LBS)

It served me well but hasn't been ridden in a long while. It's in need of a bit of TLC but currently with my LBS for a service to ensure everything's okay.

Speaking to Argos they thought £600 was a fair price but I will consider offers.

LOOKING FOR £300

I fear I may have messed this up. I did try and upload photos but I'm not seeing them.
Any advice as to how to edit/sort it would be appreciated :)

It's worth posting up some frame dimensions too for any interested potential buyers to get an idea of frame size & fit.

Aaah good point, thanks. I don't have exact dimensions and it's having the mini service but it was hand built for me I'm 6'1"ish so it's in the 58/59cm bracket

If it was custom built by Argos wouldn't they have the frame details on some sort of customer database with a record of the frame number?

Thanks. I'll give them a call and see if they do have anything. I've long since lost any paperwork :)

Talked to Argos. The ydo have paper records going back a long way but it'll take time to dig them out apparently. I'm away for a week from tomorrow but will chase this up when back and/or measure the bike when it's back from the LBS.
Presume bike height and top tube length would be ideal? The bars are wider than average because of my frame.
