Super Retro & Vintage Garage find Coventry Eagle racing bike project.
This cracking little racer will be an incredible restoration project and with the current cycling trend, would make an awesome commuter bike.
Argos Racing Cycles in Bristol have resprayed a couple of these frames and forks and they can help with new decals and help source original parts. From the research ive done so far, the front wheel is original but the rear is a modern repro. The saddle is original and could be amazing if restored. The gear mech's and shifters are original.
Here's a list of what's on it so far:

Coventry Eagle 531 Reynolds tubing frame and forks.
Rigida 27 x 1 1/4 front wheel.
Weinmann 27 x 1 1/4 rear wheel.
Sachs Huret vintage front derailleur.
Simplex vintage rear derailleur.
Shimano 6 speed rear cassette.
Simplex vintage front and rear shifters.
Weinmann brakes and levers front and rear.
Wrights vintage leather saddle.
Sakae Road Champion drop bars.
Custom crankset.

Re:

Great stuff. That was very nearly the first bike I ever bought. Round about 1983 if I remember correctly and was the cheapest bike available with 531 tubing.
