*SOLD* Classic Peugeot 653 Athena

Acquired this from a friend who emigrated 10 years ago. He rented his house which I managed for him. House was sold recently so I had to clear the garage.
The bike needed a good clean and I’ve fitted new brake cables, outer and inner and new bar tape.
It’s all original apart from the saddle and shows a few scuffs and scratches commensurate with its age. Otherwise all functions as it should.
The tyres are good enough for a test ride but will need to be replaced.
62cm Reynolds 653 frame, Campagnolo headset, brakes, Indexed gears and hubs, LOOKPP76Carbon pedals (can swap for standard pedals if preferred), Mavic Mach 2CD rims, standard tyres not tubulars.

I've had a couple of these and if you wasn't so far away this would probably be my third! Very clean original example (apart from the saddle) even has the original pedals and sprint rims plus its's a bargain to boot!

This should sell very easily!!

I'm local-ish and unfortunately it's not my size. Shame, as a friend is also looking for one of these as well (too large for him as well!)
