Selling my Gazelle Exception from 1997. Frame build from Reynolds 731 OS Race (OS = Oversize), fork and seat/chain stays are made of Poppe & Potthoff Noblex stainless steel. Build up completely with Dura Ace 7700 parts, many of them where NOS (hubs, brake/shifting levers, cranks including BB-7700 Octalink, 7410 seat post), the rest of the parts in very very good state. New Mavic Open Pros, too. Rare Cinelli Grammo titanium stem (including original cap). Selle Italia Flite (red print on rear) in very good state.

Ridden about 100 km since i builded it up.

Tech specs:

- top tube lengts 55 cm center/center
- seat tube lenght 55 cm center/center
- stack to reach aprox 1,4
- head tube length 15 cm top/bottom
- stem 12 cm center/center
- wheel base 98 cm center/center
- bottom bracket height 27,5 cm
- race plate holder brace on below top tupe (but w/o plate holder)
- rims 32 wholes
- head set Tange Falcon 1" (new)
- chain rings (NOS) 53/39
- cranks 172,5 mm
- sprockets Ultegra 14-25 9 speed
- tires Conti Grand Prix 4000 'classic' 23 mm
- handlebar Ritchey Comp Black 26.0 width 42 cm center/center
- bar tape Cinneli 'cork' black
- all outer cables Shimano SP-41 grey

Cons:

- two small chips in the paint, not really noticable
- rear tire has cut on the side, but i will give a new same tire with the bike
- the tip of the chain hanger braze on part on the right seat stay has broken of, but just the tip. brazed part is of course in place, so seat stay is not damaged at all.

Pros:

- rare frame, one of the last 'classics' from Gazelle, incredible expensive in 1997 (frame set 2.100 Deutsche Mark )
- beautyfull shiny 'Brussels Blue' paint work contrasting nice with the stainless steel parts
- race geometry (rear stays and thus wheelbase 1 cm less and bottom bracket height 1 cm plus compared to the Champion Mondial AA model)
- cool straight fork :)

Bike is located in Berlin, Germany. Local pick up, shipping options & costs to be discussed. Sold w/o the PD-7410 and the shown tachometer.

1500€

Private sale, no guarantee, no refund / no return.

Feel free to ask questions ;)

@Suffolk roads: Sorry for the delay, was abroad. Anyway 2 fotos from the broken chain hanger. As said, it's just the tip broken off.
