I bought this a couple of years back off of an old guy who had bought it new back in the early '80's and was now downsizing.
I'm now doing the same and so, as it (and others) is not being used, it's time to pass it on.
I think it's all pretty much original..down to the cloth bar tape.
Reynolds 531 frame (23.5 inch), vintage Campag 920 gear set (rear and front derailleur, shifters), Alesa alloy quick release rims, Weinmann calipers, Weinmann drilled brake levers (gum covers are in good nick), Custom crankset.
Produced by Raleigh (Worksop, around 1982).
It weighs in at around 11kg.
There's a few small chips ere and there in the paintwork (that could be spot treated with the right shade of pillar box red) but it's been dried stored and so fairly minimal rust and chrome tarnishing.
Overall, a lovely old lightweight.
Price around £200 (used a similar 2013/£180 advert for pricing).
Pick up from North London, N4 4AU..but happy to consider courier (at your own risk and cost)...or could drop it off along the M6/M1 route (for a small petrol donation) as I see my folks in Lancashire every month or so.
