Dirt Disciple
1996 Custom built Condor.
59cm BB to Seatpost
58cm Top Tube centre to centre
16.5cm Headstock
A large sized road/tour bike made for Condor by Dave Yates/M Steel in Newcastle.
Lugged frame built with Reynolds 531 'Designer Select' tubing.
Fully pantographed on forks, headstock, bottom bracket, seat stays and bridge.
Braze on's for rack and mudguards
Full Campag mixed group set. Mirage brakes, rear mech and triple crankset (50/40/30).
Veloce front mech, Athena 'Carbon' brake/shifters, Campag Brev headset, Campag bottom bracket.
8x3, 24 speed.
Wheels are 700c Mavic MA2 rims on Campag hubs.
Bars, stem and fluted seatpost are ITM.
This is a100% original bike in remarkable condition. It appears to have been little used and well cared for. It has lived in Portugal and seen little rain, no salt or road grime, and there's no rust, no oxidisation or bloom to any of the polished surfaces.
The colour scheme is hard to describe, but I'd call it pale steel blue over turquoise metallic, it looks incredible in sunlight.
I've replaced tyres, tubes, rim tapes and bar tape, which are brand new.
Looking for £500 to include original 'Top Peak' rear carrier, 'Esge' coachlined alloy mudguards and blue walled 23c Lugano tyres,
Can be seen/inspected/collected in West Yorkshire.
