I have decided to let my original '1 owner' Holdsworth move on to pastures anew.
I purchased from Walton cycles ( Surrey ) in about 1970/71 & she is a 54cm 'all original' 5 speed machine. New rack & tyres were added for the London to Brighton in 1983
I used her sporadically till 1974 when motorbikes took over & she has been in dry storage since. she had very little use, guessing 250 miles max - so all original Campag gearing, brooks saddle, weinmann brakes etc . Frame number is 32231
The frame itself is rustfree, but the various components certainly need refurbishment. The wheels run straight & true & the rear bearing still has that iconic 'click' when rotating
I have no idea of current value, but would feel this authentic piece of history must be worth more than a Taiwanese Halford's "special", so happy to invite offers above, say £250.00 ??
Can be viewed Near Worthing. Any questions, please feel free to call me on 07900 242324
