Classic 1985 Raleigh Corsa road bike with a 23.5" frame that has Reynolds 501 tubing. This has been used and has a few marks that have been touched in with matching paint. It looks really smart overall and I replaced the RALEIGH decals with new ones a few months ago. I intended to keep this one, so I built it with a great spec. Unfortunately I have to sell, but needs must! The spec is as follows:

Shimano 600 - front and rear mechs, headset, crank, brakes, stem (600ex), shifters, pedals with original toeclips and hubs with correct skewers laced with stainless spokes to Mavic open 4CD graphite anodised rims. The groupset took me ages to source.

The bars are Cinelli Criterium, brake levers are Shimano 105 with white hoods, NOS Simplex aero seatpost, the saddle is the classic Selle Rolls in black leather, and the tyres are Continental 700x23c amberwalls.

This is a beautiful looking classic Raleigh bike. I built it in the autumn, been too busy to really use it properly - a real shame, so it must move on. £250 plus postage.

Really nice Raleigh but can't help notice the front forks! You replace them or like that when you got the bike ?

Should have sloping fork crown iirc. Shaun
That's what I'm thinking too Shaun, notice how the front brake blocks are really lowered and the big gap between the tyre & crown! Something not right here.

They were like that when I got the bike, they have been installed for many years, the guy I got it off bought it new, so he fitted them. Didn't think much of it, obviously aware they were not the original sloping crown ones, but it rides fine...
