With 460 quid colnagos being left for weeks, perhaps this is the wrong place to list this? Of course there are dozens of these for sale at most bike shops and parts are really common, or at least in 87 that was the case.

Perhaps not, even 30 years ago I don't recall seeing many, my friend got one from Dauphin Sport, the Slx one that snapped and was re sprayed green!

I think you have hit the nail on the head. Most people on here are after a bargain and only stuff that is reasonably priced or going cheap will sell, that's in no way to say what you are selling is not worth what you are asking. Also, In my years on the forum I can't recall too many occasions when I have seen something sell for £1000+. Perhaps eBay would give you the best chance?

Thanks for the confirmation. I do think January is a tough month for many, good to buy some things at low prices. When we were doing something completely different I used to buy kit up that was 40% less than buying it in April when the season started, which allowed me to race with some decent stuff.
I will let it linger here for a bit longer then put it on the bay. If i sell it i have to consider what it would cost to replace, hence the asking price.

It looks nice, but I'd want better and more detailed photographs before I considered parting with that much cash.
