i'm selling my road bike, because a recent bike fit has shown that it is a few sizes too small for me, and I've got something better fitting on the way, so -

the frame dimensions are:
seat tube (c-c) 55.5cm
top tube (c-c) 55cm
head tube 14cm

It has a very slightly downwards sloping top tube

build list:

Roberts 853 - ("butted frame and stays" - not just main triangle) frame, roberts forks - the bb shell is pantographed '853' on one side and 'roberts' on the other side. 'ritchey' stamped dropouts.
Colnago flash forks
sram rival 22 groupset
shimano rs11 wheels
gatorskin 23c tyres
3t arx 100mm stem (not the thomson pictured)
fsa vero 40cm compact bars (i think)
ritchey comp headset
thomson seatpost
fizik arione saddle

the group set and wheels are in very good condition, less than 1000 miles, tyres replaced very recently, and the whole bike was set up and dialled in by my lbs and still running smoothly.
i rode it down to brighton recently and can confirm that it was a pleasure to ride, the one thing i noticed was that the seat post slipped a bit early in the ride, but then i tightened it up a bit more and it didn't slip for the rest of the ride.
the saddle is very worn, the frame has a small ding on the top tube and a bit of rust (notably on the rear brake bridge) the original threaded forks are also quite rusty and chipped. oh also the small light blue patches on the frame are where there was a bit of surface rust so i cleaned and treated it - then painted it in nail varnish.

I'm based in brixton, south london, i'd prefer collection but postage with payment by paypal is also possible.

i'd like £740
thanks

Re:

So what did you think of Ditchling Beacon?

Nice winter restoration project for someone. But not me, at 6'3.
Yellow model paint may have been a slightly better colour match by the way !

GLWS and welcome to the forum ;)

Thanks Mike :)

Ditchling was killer - but good fun
