For Sale: Detto Pietro Road Bike Columbus MS Gilco

Hi all,

I'm reluctantly having to part with my early 80s Detto Pietro bike. The frame is very high quality and very rare. I've found it difficult to find out online which Italian frame builder made these frames for Detto, but what I do know is that it's made from Columbus MS (multi-shape) Gilco tubing, has a Cinelli BB shell and Campag drop-outs. It has DP 'pantographed' all over the place - headtube, forks, BB shell, all lugs etc. Paint is excellent - hardly a mark or scratch anywhere. Very light and nice to ride.

Built as is for me, 6ft tall. A 6ft rider is probably the smallest you can get on it

I haven't given up on this.
Just thinking that varying frame geometries might work in my favour...what's the stand over height, I need it to be no more than 78cm pref a little lower.
