I can no longer recommend Parcelforce. First package - 24 hour paid for, and it sat around in some central hub for 3 days before delivery was attempted four working days afterwards. Second one, somehow got sent to Oxford from Derby (I'm in North Wales) before eventually heading back here.

Posted a Flying Scot, full bike, to Kilmarnock from London. Went to the post office with the bike in a bike box, packing and wrapped up. With insurance up to £300, 24hr delivery. It arrived in 16hrs. £29 all in. Presume it was Parcelforce. Buyer paid for postage but amazed how cheap it was.

Senditnow.com was recommended to me by another seller on here and their prices were very good size was also very good so I sold my bike frame and for some reason when I went to book the delivery I could only get the form filled out but it wouldn't complete and send, don't know if this was a one off ,

Just tried them now and have but in a weight of 18.3kg for a bike in a standard bike box (138x21x74cm) to Germany and they have returned this message "Unfortunately we were unable to find any services to your destination."
Seems the max size is 120x20x70cm.

Just seen this courier firm in another thread, cycle specific so no hassle sending via them

Price is acceptable too

I found these, last week and sent a bike with them. Collected as arranged and it arrived safely. Cost around £35 to send a compete bike. Interestingly, if you don't have a bike box, they will drop one off with you and collect it (with your bike inside), later the same day.

Hi,

I'm about sending me a bike from France, but don't know what to use. We here talking about how to send a bike from UK to UK or rest of Europe but some of the company above don't work from EU to UK.

It seems like parcemonkey got a french website, is there another solution you've tried and what's the size and weight of a bike box on purpose to make a simulation?

Cheers

I've used Paisley Freight a couple of times - well organised and quick and about £25.
