With the demise of Yodel I can no longer cost effectively use www.p4d.co.uk for delivering my bikes.

I have found www.interparcel.com/ to be quite competitive as long as the box is less than 130cm.

Who is everyone else using to send their bikes?

For those considering selling and posting a bike we have added a page to our site offering some advice: http://www.stallioncycles.co.uk/packing.htm

If you go to http://www.parcelmonkey.co.uk there's a result for DX next day at £25.43 plus VAT

Never heard of them though :?

Used Parcelmonkey for loads of big and heavy items, although not as easy now, as they've changed some of the maximum sizes they're prepared to take.

There's also https://www.parcel2go.com/

Both are booking agents for the companies I suppose.

But no hesitation about using Parcelmonkey, as they use mainline companies

I haven't posted a bike for a while and it does look like the results from parcelmonkey, parcel2go and P4D are all quoting higher prices, plus about £10 from a year ago.

senditnow looks like a good option, I think they've increased their maximum dimensions to cover a bike box. I seem to remember looking into them before and the combined measurements of a bike box was to big.

I've used PaisleyFreight a few times for just under £25. Always arrived safely for me.

Used Paisley and senditnow, and Parcelforce. The last 2 are the same, but send it now is about half the price of Parcelforce. Won't bother with Paisley again, as they and Parcelforce are too expensive in comparison to senditnow
