Hi all,

purchased this for myself as a bit of fun for the summer but I've changed my mind. Bike has been restored to a very high quality. I purchased it off the original owner said he had it since the mid 60s and had it as a sunday best, then had it restored about 5 years ago.

I think the frame is mid 70s but the chap (bless him) said his memory was going so he couldn't remember exactly.

I'm fairly sure some parts have been changed and upgraded in it's time such as dura ace levers and saddle but it's a really nice spec bike. Shimano tourer centre-pull brakes are excellent.

Bike doesn't need and money spending on it, just riding.

I do have a few more pics and sizing of the frame which I will include when I'm home.

I'm more into the vintage track scene so don't know how to price this bike properly, but considering condition and quality of the parts how does £220 posted sound? Or collection from Leicester.

The frame is somewhat earlier than 70's ............ 1958-1966 judging by the lugs :D

Nice :D

Difficult to tell with my uneducated eye, but are those Oscar Egg lugs? I know Carlton used them from time to time.

Fairly sure these are the egg lugs as they do have little egg shapes in them!

C'mon, someone take this off me!

Spot on,

don't think they were used before the Raleigh takeover (1960).

I have a track frame with these lugs.

Jon.
