Do any other sellers gate plagued with absolute timewasters? Measure this, measure that, how many bits of rubber per hectare are on the tyre treads? How long will the postage take? Haggle, Haggle - I don't want it now because I've read my stars in the Sunday People and blue is not my lucky colour etc etc etc.

Andrew - I think about 1988 or 89? It's the Mark II with the single seatpin bolt at the rear.

HAHAHAH Yes!!

Forums seem to attract this in droves...for hassle free its ebay all day long, the fees are well worth it in order to avoid the penniless wasters!

Think this is bad...try Mamil (oops sorry I mean Bike) radar

DAY 1
hi, i'm VERY interested in your ford cortina - could you tell
me more about it
reply:- see the ad, please - i was blue in the face writing
everything i could about it
DAY 2
that's great. has it got an MOT, TAX?
reply:- see the ad - it tells you on it
DAY 3
could you send me LOTS of photographs, please?
i'm VERY interested!
reply:- ok, so half a dozen won't do - i'll email you a dozen
to keep you happy
DAY 4
i am VERY interested!! how do i get to yours from my place on the TRAIN?
reply:- you take a train to glasgow central and then one to my bit
DAY 5
that's great - i will give it some SERIOUS thought!
reply:- i am free for the next few weekends and i could meet you from the
train station
DAY 6
(EMAIL SILENCE)

DAYS 7 ONWARDS>>
(COMPLETE EMAIL SILENCE FOR SEVERAL DAYS - POSSIBLY A WEEK OR MORE)

A RANDOM DAY THE FOLLOWING WEEK OR LATER:-

hi, many thanks for your photos and information regarding your car.
UNFORTUNATELY, i'm not in the position to BUY just now as

a. i need to sell my current car to get the funds together

b. i need to PERSUADE the WIFE to let me buy another car

c. i have suddenly encurred storm damage to the house and need
to pay for expensive repairs

d. one or more of my family members is very ill so i'll have to put it on the back
burner just now - but THANKS for your time..

e. it's just a BIT TOO FAR TO TRAVEL but best of luck in your sale

f. i'd really rather have a capri

g. i prefer the mk 3 cortina - it's just MORE me

h. it's beyond my budget

i. would you swap it for a 1986 lancia beta hpe project plus cash MY way?!!
