I bought this not so long back now and although I have tried and tried to enjoy road cycling, I just can`t get into it so don`t really want this bike just sat around doing nothing when someone somewhere may be able to appreciate it. Plus when the nice evenings finally appear I will be on the mountain bike (retro of course).
It is a 1968/69 Carlton Continental. Has been repainted at some point but is to a good standard.
No signs of damage anywhere, few scratches but just superficial.
It is ready to be used with ok tyres (the only weak point really, starting to crack), new tubes, all the gears and brakes work well, good BB, currently set up with 5 gears.
Nice cheap retro road bike.
