Christmas preasent for someone :)

Frame size: 59cm frame, top tube 58cm: lugged Columbus frame (i was told it is sl one it is not very clear from the sticker, according the research- the compony were using sl tubing, rear and front dropouts are compagnolo. There number 58 on the bb shell

Modolo break leavers

amos high end headset some say equivalent to compag super record
amos bb (not sore titanium or steel)
3ttt handlebar stem with super leggero bars
Dura ace chain
Shimano 600 rear derailleur and sifters
Rear Wheel: compagnolo hubs and Mavic MA40 rim.
Front Wheel: normandy hub
Gipiemme strada cranks with interestingly looking chain-rings
i think the seat post compagnolo- but not sure 100 percent so adding pic for you so see

it looks technically sounds, everything looks as it should be.

it appears to be light weight

it deserves a clean and a service to bring it back to glory

it looks like the whole bike is chromed under the paint

Very nice...i like the colour.....but you are lucky not to have the seatpost stolen with that QR mechanism.....i remember back in the late 1960s....they were quite popular on some bikes....including Holdsworth.

As for the seatpost....it is Italian....seen Brev written on the post...so could be Campag....there are better Campyologists than me on here who will tell you yea or nay!
 
Change saddle, handlebar tape, brake levers, seatpost binder, little bit of cleaning and voila! If it were smaller I would be very tempted... (hmm.... even now I am..) This bike after proper restoration will be looking great. Chrome is in great condition (judging from the photos). Chainset and these gently curved forks are very nice as well.
 
it is in a very good nick for its age, the frame is too small for me, hence i bough 65 cm frame now 531c
 
tempted as I spent my youth drilling holes in everything I had stuck on my bikes.

The frame builder is not that known to me so going to have a think...

Just to let you know: in 9 days time I will be away for nearly 3 weeks.

P.s. I have emailed the maker/ builder in Italy, but no reply yet
