Reynolds 708 tubing (a touring specific tubing produced in the 90s for Raleigh)
ST ct 58 cm
TT cc 58 cm
Shimano Deore XT groupset
Cinelli bars and stem with bar end shifters
Ritchey comp seatpost
Spa Cycles knockoff Brooks saddle (not even formed to my arse bones yet!)
"German" rear rack (seriously, this is what it says - held up great on a recent tour though.)
Usable but knackered Wellgo double sided SPDs
Magura (!) rim brakes
Mavic rims and hubs - I can't remember what model, pretty sturdy touring grade though
Cheap but brand new 32x700 tyres from a swell bike shop in Florence

Hi everybody!

I just finished riding this beast through Italy for 3 weeks - the sole reason I bought it. I picked it up from ebay
from a guy who had only used it once as well for LEJOG.
It's in great shape and set up to tour, proved to be an excellent, sturdy bike and handled well loaded too.
It was the first time I'd used Maguras as well and these were great on the descents - I also have a brand new bleed
kit I bought but never needed that I can throw in. All in all, a great, classic tourer that will last decades.
Some scuffs which I've tried to show, but paint is overall in very good shape.

This came with an old school set of Union Dynamo lights that did not survive the trip. Buyer need to remove and
replace with something more current (I would have thought).

It will look great once cleaned up, but alas I had to leave London as soon as I got back from the tour and had no time
to do so.
My touring buddy took the artful snaps for me, but between that and having him put on a new chain, I don't have the heart
to ask him to detail it.

NOW SOLD

Collection from North/East London preferred.

Thanks for looking!

Lovely tourer. I wish it were my size :x. Good luck with the sale.

Love the Raleigh Special Products badge too!
