If You dont want to buy it, then dont comment. I can ask for it whatever i want, its worth what someones willing to pay. It clearly states "or nearest offer" and I have started it on ebay for £600 with no reserve, which is what I paid for it. The same frame has just sold on ebay for £600 and that was the Frame only. I have had the bike less than three months, and bought it from a bloke local to me. The bike description was based on information he provided. So it was priced based on these factors. Hardly worth a cheeky comment IMO.

If it is the same bike, the group set was in great nic, but not NOS, and the frame was not stored and NOS last year. Mine was bought in Swansea in 2010, and had been use by the previous owner as a commuter in and around.

If the left hand seat stay has been touched up, then it was mine.

Good luck with the sale, they are ace frames.

It had a quill stem and a pair of quite narrow bars. I bought an ahead convertor, 100mm stem and a wider bars. fitted Colnago new bar tape and fitted new cables all round. the groupset looks pretty much brand new only the cranks have minor rub marks. theres a few chips that have been touched up, but not noticeable, and the paint and chrome still nice and bright. Always gets comments when out on it. £1000 may have been a stretch but you expect to get knocked down, but at £600 its an awesome bike.

Only selling as i came off my other bike two weeks ago and smashed my collar bone in two places. gonna be out of action for a while and the bike wont get used over the winter.

Fair enough. My comment was made under the assumption that you had bought the bike from ratbane as it wasn't sold very long ago. You can of course ask whatever you'd like for the bike - and commenting on the price of an item is actually against the rules here- so I apologise.
