Devout Dirtbag
Here’s an old Gazelle Formula Race that was rebuilt as a Paris–Roubaix tribute bike. It was professionally powder-coated a stunning “Mountain Dew” green. The decals were made for fun to match the fork, but you can still get period Gazelle decals from Velocals. The Rock Shox Ruby fork was added along with an overbuilt XT wheelset, a nice Dura-Ace drivetrain, a NOS Stronglight 107 crankset, and a Regal saddle. Ride is very comfortable and steering is surprisingly compliant. Gilbert Duclos-Lasselle would approve. There are no dings, dents, or scratches. It is ready to be ridden!

Asking for $1250/OBO

$65 shipping lower 48. I will ship it worldwide if seller pays the way. Be aware I shipped a full bike from Europe over 2 years ago and I think it ran between $250 and $350 and I would be shocked if it was more affordable than that now.

I was watching the Paris–Roubaix from the early 90's and saw Duclos-Lasselle riding a road bike with a shock and thought I should build one of those! I assume I found the NOS ruby fork while at the bar and purchased it straight away. As always I blame my loosened inhibitions while at the bar. The only good bit of COVID is that I have stayed away from the bars this year and have only purchased 3 frames.
