Tracker bike for sale

Chopper the ex Copper

Alpinestars Fan
Wasn't sure whether to put this in MTB or road, but whatever... Mods feel free to move elsewhere if you feel appropriate.

Tracker bike for sale, as built by the spotty youth of the 50s, 60s and 70s for off road fun and games. Yep, we were mountain biking long before mountain bikes.

1978 Elswick Hopper frame, freshly powder coasted black. Size - c.22.5".

New touring tyres, knobbliest I could find.

New handlebars.

New grips.

NOS brake levers.

NOS pedals.

New freewheel.

New chain.

Shorty guards.

New cables.

Centrepulls, as lusted after by the youf of yore, as sidepulls were oh so passe.

New seat, removed from an unridden Giant.

Other than test ride 200 yards test ride it's been unused since I built it. It's not quite finished - it needs a Sachs Huret or similar dimensions rear mech to finish, and a final set up. It has a spanking new Sora mech from my Box O' Crap on there at the moment, but it doesn't shift too well in the lower ratios.

£70, collection only from South Northants. Would consider a swap dor a halfway decent set of 26" disc wheels.
