Merida Road Race 903RR
Alloy frame with Carbon fork Merida Road Race 903RR bike. Approximately a Medium sized frame, actual measurements are;
53cm BB centre to seatpost top
55cm CtoC toptube
I'm 6ft, with an inside leg of 33cm. I had the seat lower and it fit me perfectly.
I bought this bike in 2017 and it was a bit tired, so I stripped it to the frame, serviced/replaced everything and rebuilt it into a fast winter bike. I rode it about 100 miles during Autumn 2017 and then sat on my rollers indoors for the whole winter (fair weather rider me) .
I have another 6 bikes and I doubt I'll ever get much use out of this which is a shame as it is a rapid all rounder.
Spec now looks like this;
- New Shimano WH-R560 wheelset
- New Lifeline Prime Race Tyres 700x23
- X Mission (Original) Merida Bars and Seatpost
- Bontrager 100mm x 7 Stem
- SRAM Apex black calipers
- New Massi Summer Gel bar tape
- New SKS Bluemel Mudguards. Custom fitted and clear the tyres perfectly, but they'll only take 23 profile tyres
- New FSA Vero Chainset, 50/34t, 175mm cranks (includes new FSA BB)
- 5700 105 Rear Mech
- Tiagra (Original) Front mech
- Shimano Sora Shifters. I use these on many of my 9 speed bikes because they are basically Black Tiagra shifters.
- Selle Italia saddle
- New Jagwire cables throughout
- New SRAM 11-28 970 Cassette
- New SRAM 971 chain
- New Gold/Orange seatpost clamp
Frame has a few tiny marks but nothing that obvious. Bike looks mint, very classy and is a joy to ride. I was really looking forward to spending the winter out and about on this but I'm a fair weather fairy and the bitterly cold/wet winter forced me indoors and thus the Merida never got the miles it deserved.
£275.00 cash - collected (J12 - M40 Warwickshire).
