I've seen more cracked alloy bianchi frames than any other bike of that era/material

A lot of the later ones did have issues and all alloy frames have that potential, it doesn't make them bad bikes.

I have seen a lot of cracked titanium frames but don't hold it against them.

Nothing is as reliable as steel, not even carbon fibre.

To the OP:
You would probably be better creating new thread for this as the divided opinions will not be helping your chances of a sale.
I'm sure it will be perfect for someone and I'm sorry it got a bit hijacked. GLWS

I think that ... more than a bike for riding it is a collection bike. In fact a good friend from Bianchi factory said: oh! Do you ride the bike?, most of the 101 owners do not ride this bike, just keep it as clean as possible ! ;)
