New bike for our 5 year old

Right guys I would like to really get our 5 year old riding this summer but he needs a bike upgrade so I’m thinking 20” seem a sensible size with a bit of longevity but not too big to start so maybe spesh hotrock/riprock

If possible I’d like it to have disc mounts so I can pimp it a bit from the parts bin.

Will consider anything but minimum would be frame forks and crank I can find the rest.

Would have to be able to post unless your near the Forest of Dean.

Thanks

Tim.

Re:

Check the little'uns inside leg before buying. I just got a Frog 52 for my niece who is 5, but it is far too big at the moment. We'll end up getting an Islabike CNOC 16 in the interim.

The Frog isn't as nicely built as the Islabike IMHO.

Re:

Thanks splatter I will check,

Those commencal bikes are awesome but bloody hell they get expensive.

I think due to not much second hand around I have decided on the Cannondale Cujo 20 it’s a reasonable spec compared to the riprock and scott but mainly because it’s blue (his choice) and it’s available unlike the scott and cheaper than the commencal.

Thanks

Tim
