Just won a nice Columbus SL Basso 'Scout' touring frame on German ebay (any info out there?). It comes without forks, so I'm looking for a pair to match.
It's dark blue to green fade which I think will be hard to colour match. Therefore a nice chrome pair would be fantastic. Apparently the headtube is 16.7cm so something with a steerer of around 210mm (+/-10mm) should do it. Full mounts and bosses please.
Specs needed:
- Threaded forks
- Mudguard eyes
- Lowrider eyes (optional)
- Canti bosses for 700c wheels
- Lowrider mounts
- Preferably with a medium rake, nice crown, etc.
- Chromed or neutral (dark grey, black, dark blue, etc)
- Pickup/postage around London or Surrey please
Have had a look around and Surly, Thorn, and Tange all seem to make nice forks that would suit perfectly, although a new pair is out of my budget. Anyway, thanks for any help!
