I could have a 1.4kg specialised for £150, but its pushing the budget! I'd like something that hits that level if possible!

Merlin maybe? Rock lobster?
 
pic of the kona? i have a nitanium rockhopper.....but prob too small as it's about 16" or a klein attitude, the unfavoured one with exterior cables...but it's light! do you still need a seatpost for the trials?

yeah 16 is too small, i'm 6'4" and the kona is giving me back ache! what's the weight of the klein and do you have pics?
 
Not really lightweight (5.5lbs), 20" Inbred V's and disc frame, 10-20 miles use, Barry White paint job, I'm 6"2 and it fits nicely

that's a bit on the heavier side fella - i'm trying to lose a bit of weight whilst getting a bigger frame, which shouldnt be too hard given the Kona is a mid-90s steel thing!

i'd want something around the 1.5kg (3lbs) mark - frame only weight.

thanks all the same though - i do have a love for the on one stuff and that looks like a nice bike!
