I am looking to fit a front mudguard to a suspension fork.
And need a bung of some sort that fits into the steerer tube fom below. I would then be able to bolt the mguard.

Are there such things or do i neen to make my own most likely be a pice of plastic hammered in...

Could you use the expander wedges for top caps?

E.g BBB Power head
Would all depend on the tube diameter.

I've once used the cork from a champagne bottle, don't know if it will hold the bolt though? Maybe with some glue inside the cork?

Not sure end caps will be strong enuf


Also a SFN may be an option

I put some plastic caps from some old Tioga bar ends in, but drilled a little tiny breather hole in them first.
