The freehub on my STX-RC hub has just given up the ghost and my local bike shop have contacted shimano who helpfully now don't make the freehub anymore. The hub reference code is FH-MC38a.
I've only just rebuilt the wheel so I really want to keep the hub in use. Does anyone have the right freehub lying around spare or even a whole hub that I could canibalise for parts?
If there isn't an exact match does anyone know what freehubs are compatible with what hubs. The shimano chart tells me that I need freehub part number Y30R98010 with QBP number FW8970, but I have no idea what that means :?
