I've just converted a bike to 9 speed have a RH spare as i'm keeping the left one........you can have it for postage money...tis black and just says shimano on the clamp...8 speed rapid fire and great condition.....came off a marin urban muir woods.....tis yours if you want it :D

Hi ya Greenstiles, thats remarkably decent of you. but i have just gone and paid £18.50 for some :cry: :cry: :cry:

the best of it is its for a friends girly bike and i have already gone over budget on buying nick nacks, then found this shifter was caput :cry:

Great shifters, I ran a pair of these for years with the rest of the bike full XTR and they didn't look out of place!

indeed, i've always prefered to mix and match .....when i was in the trade we used to see a lot of LX/XT shifters go wrong.......but Alivio/Deore just kept going :D
