If you fancy building something up (instead of complete bike) I have a lovely little Scott alu hardtail frame only, just back from the powdercoaters in perfect condition! It's gloss black with 15" c-t seat tube and 20.5" c-c top tube. I can also supply pretty much a whole bike's worth of parts with it if you're interested?

Hello Thanks for getting in touch
I'm at the moment looking at a tourer on e bay ...its got some unusual components Sram hub gears and something called a Schumpf chainset .
I was given to understand that steel would be better for touring but am no expert.
Also please what parts have you for sale.
Thanks
Steve

No problem, I think you're right about steel > aluminium for touring
