Steel or Ti mtb

I've got quite a few bits left over and a mate is after a build.

Anyone have a nice steel frame? Or bike.

Kona? Orange? Marin? Maybe something reynolds

Budget 100-200 on a frame.. 200-300 on a bike

Could maybe stretch a bit more for the right bike.. Budget could also stretch for a ti :smile:

Oops size.. Ideally 19", but possibly 18" or 20"

I have a pipedreqm scion in 19 inch. Reynolds 853 frame. Absolutely mint, lovely grey metallic colour. 26er. I'd need to push your frame budget though, £250. I'd leave the almost new hope headset in place. Not desperate to sell if I'm honest but I need to let a few things go for space reasons. It has probably only done 100 dry miles.

Got a mint 19" Genesis Ti with optional Hope headset.

it's like new so would blow your budget ski high, but...

Cheers buddy, probably a tad too much for my mate... But might be tempted for myself. The recent litespeed build I've just finished... I've a feeling is a bit on the small side for me, so might be tempted to change over the parts to something else... Will have a think :smile:

Not sure what era you're looking for but I got a nice Diamond Back Apex in True Temper steel with a matching Spinner 11/8 A head fork. Paints not great and there's a tiny (and I do mean tiny!) little ding on the underside of the down tube. Comes with correct 26.8 seat post. £85 shipped UK via DPD if you're interested?
