Steady there HM.

A clunker is a retro term for any kind of anvil that has two wheels and a set of handlebars attached.

A couple of firsts for me tomorrow if the bike and I make it.

1. My first ride on forks with more than 60mm travel (in theory!)
2. My first ever ride on an aluminium framed mountain bike.
3. My first ever ride using those new fangled riser bar things.

You're never too old to try new things!

Naaah, I just sort of like the simplicity of it. Large frame and no clutter. MF is very busy in comparison. Not sure about the gripshifters but they're growing on me. Shame the Cantis had to go but were totally useless. have put old tyres back on for tomorrow.

Been raining so could be muddy?

Yes, it could all be quite interesting on 20 year old tyres which have more than a passing resemblance to Bakerlite.

Bakerlite tyres and canti brakes, my what fun!
