Well, just got home from the most disappointing ride ever.

Poor company, poor route, the whole thing was just shocking

Thanks boys, Jon and I had a cracking time. 8)

As Dad said, really enjoyed myself, hope you didn't mind me being on a modern bike, I promise to bring my P7 for the next one!

In terms of ride stats,

Distance
38.7km
Elevation
778m
Elapsed Time
05:44:40
Moving Time
03:40:26
Avg Speed
10.5km/h
Max Speed
42.0km/h

Apologies that it's all in km, it's a roadie thing :D

But thanks again for a really great ride, hats off to the host! Will definitely have to come over for another one some time, although if you're on the full susser you'll be waiting for the slow guy on the XC rig :P

I asked myself that very question on a number of occasions.

I was also wondering who ate all the pies?

Top day out as ever, great to meet Neil and Jon.

Highlights :

The mystery of the disappearing Edwards  :? ? well good to see you for ten mins anyway !
Dave {Gregg(s)} moaning about his tyres (again)
Matts lovely Rocky Mountain
Seeing the stunning job Rupe did on my old Cannondale.
Blasting a cheeky lap of the Verderers at the end and hammering the Yo for every inch of its life on the final couple of sections

Bike of the ride : my Yo, second place Rupe's Cannondale

I apologise know for the crappy pictures, really need a new camera !

Hope you all liked the route

I am really torn of quote of the day

Its either

Neil " You lot are bast@rds"

Rupe " james ...JAMES !! (grinding to a halt)

Good day out I thought, Nice to meet Neilm and nipper, The route as always a cracker shame the V trail is now rough as a badgers arse.

Well impressed with Matts Rocky Mountain (Bike of the ride !! ) , Very funny when the front brake let go and mat tossed the cable hanger into the bush in frustration thinking it was snapped cable .....Then the mad search to find it after!

I need to stop sucking them bike gels .... Like Wayne Campbell talking to Jim Morrison .... Ededwards came to me and blessed me with wise words of wisdom before departing again ...I darnt ask anyone else if they saw him aswell

Looking forward to mayhem even more now!! 8)

big thanks to james again for a good ride.was nice to meet neil and jon,and talk about the big tours, wiggins and contador,s steak :D

i was pleased with the new bike ,and me and john being the only 2 to finish all the route and not pike out on the climb after lunch. i think dave could have done with the extra climb , he probably would have tried it if there was a KFC at the top

see you all soon,at mayhem
