Cannot believe planning for May already, I feel its been a massive success with so many great rides and venues already hosted so far ...Cannot wait for more to come!!

Enough rambling back to May`s ride , we can either keep to the planned schedule and ride a route that I will/have put together starting from Blockley (gl56) or several members have shown interest and committed to the Sarsen Trail organised event on the same date? This looks a great route and had excellent feedback from last year. linky here

So there we are vote away!! If you are going to vote for the Cotswold ride can you please commit to actually ride it

cheers

Blockley for me.

Salisbury plain can be a bit boring?

You are right there - SP is a 'Plain' so its mostly tank tracks ect that the ride will go on.

I like it as thats where I did a lot of my riding BITD but it is a long way for someone to travel//pay ride for something not that exciting - although the 'event' is well organised and gets you on parts of the Plain that are normally out of bounds.

The SPAM biking events at Erlestoke though are a different matter - the SW region guys to those - well recommended.

I did the first ever one of these called the 'Salisbury Plain Challenge' BITD - must have been around 88/89... they were the days!

I vote do Blockley on Saturday and those that want to can to Sarcen on Sunday.

The Blockley ride is great fun, with a nice pub halfway round :D

Been on the Plain a few times, very hard to navigate without Gps and I find the chalk tracks a bit tedious.

Decided to host the Cotswold ride on the 5th of May leaving anyone to ride on Sarsen trail on the 6th  happy days
