****Edit****

The meeting place, peddleabikeaway centre is getting more and more popular, now this won't effect our rides, but parking can be an issue, they are extending the carpark as we speak, but please get there early .

There is some alternative parking places, please pm me or text me if you need more info.

Just been talking with Uncle Monty. We fancy a run down. Can you please pm me some contact details as we are driving down from near Gatwick airport and would like to be able to let you know if we hit traffic issues. Also is there a post Code for bike shop / centre where you are meeting?

I'm not able to come but I usually park at Speculation just down the road and no charge. If you park at the back of the parking area on this site you ride up a little bank straight onto the cycle trails. Follow the main trail to get to Pedalwbikeaway.

Have a good ride!

Cracking day out today a fairly long XC ride with a pub stop in the middle and a quick whizz around the verderers trail at the end which, I think finished us all off !

A Big thanks to GRD and uncle monty for travelling up from Sussex specially for the ride, hope you enjoyed it , you brought some fine steeds with you too, quite jealous  Mass199 was also out with a new ride, though next time I want to see the stumpy !

Highlights include seeing Daj on a retrobike again  after a long stint on the cube. Also me crashing at reasonable speed on my (was) mint Grello , now has a nice chip where the brake lever hit the top tube on impact  still was good to get out and rip up the FoD on it
oh and Matthew agreeing to let me have his Ti Fat when he gets bored of it

anyway few pics here, will also post them on the FB page :

Details for Februarys ride will be up soon

Just got home.

Great day, thanks for showing us around, and we'll certainly be back for some more. It's good to ride different places and meet new people.

Don't worry James, the Ti's safely back under lock and key in the man cave, but it would be so much happier if it had a pink Monster to keep it and the other Fats company...

Until next time..

Matthew

Thanks for a great day out guys. Really enjoyable ride and good company. I feel totally worn out - which is a good thing. Some excellent trails you have there, and I look forward to visiting again some time soon.

Chris.
