I am in need of a cheap frame to use as a track bike
I'm not racing seriously, so it doesn't matter too much, as long as its structurally sound-ish. I can cope with a little bit of rust, or a crap paint job and scratches/small dents - If need be I can repaint it with some hammerite
.
Surface damage is fine, and it doesn't have to be anything special at all - frame material doesn't really matter.
Dropout spacing isn't any issue, i can bodge hubs to fit - Price is the priority As long as they're not vertical dropouts then anything goes.
As for size, I can take anything from about 56cm to 60/62cm - I'm 6'4", but pretty flexible, so it doesn't really matter too much - my rourke is a 56 and I can ride it with a slammed stem, so anything goes really. Plus, its a track bike so comfort isn't a consideration.
Any frame will be considered, even if it has canti bosses and massive clearance, or weird braze-ons for obselete gadgets.
The cheaper the better.
