Hello all. Newbie with a nice one owner 531ST Touristique, but frame just a tad small for me, so wanting a bit more reach.
The existing (80mm) quill stem has 10cm column height and I've squeezed another 1cm with hopeful safety. Has anyone got something 'not special' but that would complement the existing Touristique equipment but might retain my 11cm of stem as well as give me 120mm of reach?
also interested in what else will fit my downpull front deraillieur (3 biopace ring, originally 500LX) which is getting rusty. I imagine Deore LX or XT of that sort of 1987 era might do?
