Update: got the BB. Just need rims now.
Been working on my Oscar Simonato for a few months, building up with Super Record components.
Had an unfortunate item loss in the post on a set of Fir EL25 rims.
So now looking for:
Rims: Mavic MA40, 36 hole, 700c
OR
Mavic Open 4 CD, same spec as above
OR
and here's a chancer: Mavic MA50, same spec as above.
5 speed freewheel
(Or wheel set with Mavic 700c and a 5 speed freewheel)
Additionally if you have any suggestions for early 80s rims please share.
Rims seems to be on ration on the usual hunting grounds at the moment!
