As above please, I'm trying to get my Raleigh Banana back on the road on a tight budget and my real wheel is somewhat egg shaped.

Quick release essential.

Thanks for looking.

OK, chrisv40,

How's cheap defined? I have a set of Ambrosio clincher rims with Mavic Superfast hubs, 36 spoke, laced X4 for £70 posted. The rear wheel is currently fitted with a Shimano MF-HG 6 speed freewheel, 14-28. The hub has Italian (ISO) thread pattern. Both wheels come with QR skewers.

The hubs are smooth, the rims are true. The wheels come with tyres - probably limited life left - Michelin Dynamic on rear wheel, Veloflex Master on front wheel. Rim label on front rim is peeling badly, on rear wheel not as bad (see pictures for details). There is a "scrape" on the braking surface of the front rim which doesn't affect braking - se pic at about 1 o'clock.

As I am posting from Europe, there is basically no difference in shipping charges for 1 or 2 wheels, so the cost for the rear wheel shipped on its own would be £57,50 - all prices are as Paypal gifts.

If this has any interest, PM me.

Cheers
Colnagolover

Re:

Thanks for your reply but the bike isn't worth spending that on I'm afraid.

Merry Christmas!

Re:

Hi, I have an MA2 rim with a 105 six speed hub. ug freewheel and 14 24 cassette that I have tested with a new chain. Bearings have been fully stripped and rebuilt, Wheel is straight and true. Would be looking for 25 quid, based in Lincoln. Let me know if you want some pics.

If you're still looking I have a pair I removed from an '80s Peugeot, usual Maillard/Weinmann type with chromed rims and threading for 6 speed block. Nutted though.
