TDC Headset 1950s??

K (edit NOT a K :roll: ) model in useable non brinelled condition

It's a pre K without pressed in headtube races. They're just drop in races into the flares/swages of the headtube and has 30 x 1/8" balls per race.

:shock: I only paid £50 for a stunning 1948-53? Leach Marathon 531 throughout, frame and forks with original but gloriously faded paint! It came with a TDC 'K' headset but it's loaded with 1/8" balls :?:

That's my next step.

It doesn't feel necessarily more awful than many headsets I have kept going.

A few balls Grade 25 or 10 will be a cheaper possibility to a NOS headset
