22" 531 mixte frame + fork for my mum

I am after a Mixte frame for my mum (aww), who wants to have a bike to pop into town on.

she need it to be as light as possible so 531 or perhaps Aelle is really a must.

22" st ct tall but maybe a little either side.

condition is not a problem, love a good project!

22" is the max size Mixte frames come in I think, I've never seen anything bigger. Raleigh made their Royale in 22", they come up from time to time on ebay (one came up near me last week in fact)
If your mum is tall you could get away with a slightly smaller frame and just swap out the stem (which are usually short jobs anyway) for a high rise/swan neck variant so she isn't stooped over so much. whack the seatpost up and jobs a good un

My mum is only 5ft 1 (on a good day..lol) but rode a 21" Peugeot mixte with the seatpost jammed in as far as it'd go. I ended up buying her a shiny multi geared flat bar bike with wider tyres though she did complain she coudn't tuck into the wind as easily

thanks, i found a 58" RIH mixte on lfgss, she is about 5'9"-10" so much taller than your mum. thanks for the tip though! j
