Hi.

I am after a BW No. 23 spindle for cottered cranks. Does anybody have a good one? Mine is pooped.

I have one but will need to check condition, which I can't do until the weekend. Originally fitted to 1967 Flying Scot and from memory was fine when I swapped over to cotterless cranks a couple of years ago

Hi. A BW No.23 is 125mm overall width with 52mm centre to centre. Its TDC equivalent is a No.4

I've a BW No. 14 axle. Bit wider but still classed as for gear + single ring as the No.23 is: http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/bblengths.html

ps. Also have some TDC cups. But not the usual crappy ones! Good model, chromed finish.

Yup - I've a 23 in decent order including bearings, cups, lockring and pins. Can do a photo if you want. as said earlier it was fine on bike, only removed as I fitted cotterless c/set
