First vintage restoration project on a hetchins brilliant 1960 frame, so am looking for some components. Having looked on Internet campagnolo record or Nouvo record may fit requirements. Just wondering if anyone had any of following for sale.

Front and rear mech
Friction

Also looking for some help with brakes

Thanks

Hi Dave,
Sounds like fun....
I have quite a few bits from 60's / 70's, Gran Sport mechs and brakes, NR and SR mechs, chainset and levers and I think a Record seat post... If you want it to be period correct you will need to be quite specific about which components you want to use.
I also have Cinelli and 3t bars and stems and some some nos Regina freewheels and so on. When you have sorted out with Malc let me know what you need and I'll see if I can help.

Not to pick nits but Nuovo Record parts aren't period correct for a 1960 frame, if that is important to you...

Malc, that's an interesting front mech. 4 hole and on a 'pointed' body with a circlip. Is it all original? According to most sources, 4 hole cages came on the 'straight' body but Nigel at Campyoldy did tell me that he bought a batch of NOS ones like yours once.

Sorry about being a bit off-topic - but I'm intrigued :?
