Campagnolo brake calipers

Preferably record. My front caliper has cracks around the quick release, both are quite tatty so I bought it would be a good Idea to replace them

Which model do you need, Nuovo Record or the later dual pivot variety?

Yeah, sounds like you need Nuovo Record units. Quite pricey I'm afraid, a usable pair will cost you £80+.

Before buying check whether you need nutted or allen key type bolts..........1980 ia a sort of crossover period.
