WTB: a nice, but knackered frame

this might be a bit of a long shot, but hey, I'm looking for a nice, but knackered frame!

a friend has offered to learn me to braze and I thought that converting a nice old road frame to 1 1/8 and bring it into the current millenium would be a good learning project.

so I need a frame that is cheap enough to puppy kill, but nice enough to be worth the while.
I need a top tube in the 54-55 cm range (give or take) and preferably one without forks, cracked head tube and shitty paint.

I'm happy to cover postage (live in denmark), a pint or two as wel. if you got something real beautiful I might be able to put a little bit of budget into it too.

thanks

Re: WTB: a puppy to kill

on the fixed gear communities I frequent when you convert a road frame to fixed by removing braze ons and gear hanger, rendering it useless for restoration, it's referred to as killing a puppy.

Re: WTB: a puppy to kill

Ive never heard of the term but I'll take your word for it, I was responding to a "reported post".

Thanks for your help ............... Rob

Sorry I can't help but have learnt something new today. :D

Original post was a little concerning but I didn't report it.

haha. don't you guys have any humour?
I'm glad it's sorted. And I'll be more specific in the future titles.
