hi

potentially after a pair of road wheels.

27"

must be able to take or already have a 6 speed block - please specify width.

rims must run true and be in tact, no dents.

looking for something budget, these are only to go on a 1980s raleigh solo commuter.

gatorskins included would be nice :)

edit: i'm in hackney, london. (near hackney downs/central stations)

I have a nice wheelset that could fit your bill - pair of 36H Rigida alloy rims laced to nice Shimano hubs, very smooth, rear is 6spd cassette (included). Virtually unused as far as I can see, came on a similar period Elswick with 600 Arabesque group set but not sure what model these hubs are. Looking for £45 the pair with cassette. I can include a new pair of Michelin World Tour gumwalls for +£12 or I have a brand new pair of 1&1/4" Ultra GatorSkins for +£45. I'm in SE1/Waterloo.

Sorry I don't have any. What do you want to see? They are slightly dulled with age but no corrosion and would polish up if that matters. No appreciable wear to breaking surfaces. Rims are retro low profile like 27" MA2s.

Now have some pics here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/wpqzk9u4g1j8l5u/XvY7smEhC1
As I said, they need a clean but otherwise sound, bike is virtually unused and been in storage for years but wheels spin smoothly.
