Not quite what you had in mind, but maybe interesting....
I've a Giant Cadex 980C with look full carbon 1" forks. Fitted with Scuzzy logic comp headset, it's 27.0mm seatpost, and I could negotiate over the Dura Ace bottom bracket I had fitted into it.
£160 without the bottom bracket (forks worth IRO £100 alone)
It's raw carbon tubes with natural alloy lugwork.

Thanks, but I think that will be one size to big. I think I have my heart set on a lugged frame.
